Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience developing, writing, and implementing IEPs
- Proficiency in evidence-based reading instruction
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Previous experience with elementary and middle school students is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide effective, differentiated reading instruction tailored to individual student needs
- Develop, write, and update IEPs for a manageable caseload of 12 students, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support each student’s educational progress
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate varying learning styles
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
