Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility) for elementary levels
- Experience with Cross Categorical Resource programs preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students in resource and general education settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans according to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Track and report student progress toward IEP goals
- Utilize a range of instructional strategies and tools to promote student engagement
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
