Open positions include:
- 1 Special Education Teacher for Autistic Support at the elementary level
- 1 Special Education Teacher for Learning Support at the middle school level
- 4 Special Education Teachers for Learning Support at the high school level
The weekly schedule aligns with school hours:
- Elementary: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
- Middle: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM
- High: 7:13 AM – 2:43 PM
Desired background and qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate active by contract start date (emergency permit sponsorship available)
- Demonstrated experience in Special Education settings, including delivery of differentiated instruction
- Proficiency in adapting curriculum for individual education plans (IEPs)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement specialized learning plans for students with diverse needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state standards
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
