What You’ll Bring:

  • Valid Georgia Special Education Certification
  • Proven experience with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Background in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong classroom management and behavior intervention abilities

Preferred Experience:

  • Adapted Curriculum certification or relevant experience
  • Experience with students with significant cognitive disabilities
  • Familiarity with ABA principles, visual supports, and functional communication systems
  • Prior supervision of paraprofessionals in a self-contained setting

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction using adapted curriculum standards
  • Create and carry out individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Manage classroom routines and behavioral support systems
  • Collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
  • Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis
  • Support development in communication, social skills, behavior, and daily living
