Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid NJ Teaching Certificate (Special Education/Learning Disability Teacher)
- NJ Tech Certification required
- Extensive experience in special education, particularly conducting student evaluations
- Proven ability to manage a caseload of 30–40 elementary students
- Flexible and adaptable—able to work at multiple school locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional special education services to elementary students across four locations (Port Redding, Indiana Ave, Claremont Ave, Kennedy Park)
- Conduct thorough and effective student evaluations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, parents, and administrators
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
