Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student based on their specific needs and goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and classroom materials
- Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and strategies to reach learners at different levels
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
- Maintain accurate records for compliance and ongoing assessment
- Monitor behavioral, academic, and social progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed

- Current and valid Illinois LBS1 license (required)
- Experience working with K-3 students preferred
