Special Education Teacher | Worcester, Massachusetts

This full-time position is designed for a Special Education Teacher experienced in supporting children with developmental delays or intellectual impairments. Working closely with 2nd and 3rd grade students, you will deliver meaningful education and create positive daily experiences in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement individualized instructional strategies for students with developmental or intellectual disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and service providers to meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Create a structured classroom atmosphere tailored to various learning needs
- Engage in regular communication with families and caregivers to support student growth
- Conduct and participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Comply with all state and school regulations regarding student documentation and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts license/certification in Special Education for either Moderate or Severe Disabilities
- Demonstrated school-based experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience with elementary-aged students, particularly those in early grades with developmental delays or intellectual impairments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Successful completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting (a letter of suitability from a previous employer may be considered for fingerprint requirements)
- Available to work onsite, Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 2:30PM
- Ready to begin as soon as possible and able to commit through June 25, 2026
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview
