Special Education Teacher in Worcester, MA

Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure/certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and implement lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Conduct assessments and interpret evaluation data to guide instructional planning
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports
- Provide direct instruction and interventions, using evidence-based strategies
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute effectively to multidisciplinary teams
- Encourage self-advocacy, independence, and positive behavior among students
- Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment for all learners
