Qualifications & Endorsements:
- Valid Special Education Teacher Certification for Texas
- MUST have one of the following endorsements: Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist (endorsement must match grade levels listed)
- Experience with Life Skills (FASE) and self-contained behavioral/autism classrooms preferred
- Passionate commitment to inclusive, individualized education
- Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality specialized instruction to students in assigned classroom (grades 4-6 or elementary)
- Design and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, staff, and families for holistic support
- Foster a safe, encouraging, and adaptive learning environment
- Maintain timely and accurate data and documentation
