Qualifications:
- Active Kansas low incidence special education licensure or Kansas unified special education licensure (required)
- Previous experience working with middle school students preferred
- Skills in individualized instruction for students with intellectual disabilities, autism, and multiple disabilities
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction for a caseload of 8 students (grades 6-8)
- Adapt curriculum and resource materials to meet varied learning and behavioral needs
- Implement IEP goals, providing both academic and life-skills support
- Partner with families, paraprofessionals, and specialists to promote student success
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to a positive school environment
