What You'll Need:

- Experience teaching special education at the middle school level preferred

Your Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of eight students spanning grades 6–8 with varying learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers to design and implement customized learning plans
- Deliver direct instruction spanning academic, social, and functional skills
- Assess ongoing student progress, adjust plans accordingly, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Foster a supportive classroom culture focused on creating opportunities for all students to thrive
- Maintain accurate records and comply with special education regulatory and documentation requirements
