Required Qualifications:
- Active and valid Texas SPED Certification
- Endorsement in Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist (must align with grades assigned)
- Ability to work onsite throughout the assignment duration
- Strong dedication to supporting students of varying abilities with empathy and structured classroom management
- Experience in Life Skills (FASE), Self-Contained, or Behavior Autism classrooms preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Instruct and support students in Life Skills (grades 4-6 or elementary) and/or Self-Contained/Behavior Autism classrooms
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and IEPs
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for all learners
- Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and families to support each student’s academic and social growth
