Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Michigan CI or ASD SPED license required (please ensure your license is present in your application)
- Background in special education, ideally with experience supporting ASD and CI populations
- Proven ability to develop IEPs, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and foster inclusive classroom environments
- Adaptable, flexible, and eager to implement innovative educational strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and individualized support to students in ASD/CI classrooms and a resource setting
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in line with best practices and compliance standards
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to inform instruction and measure student progress
