Key Qualifications:
- Active and current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required—please provide a copy upon submitting your application.
- Prior experience in special education—Life Skills Self-Contained or Instructional/Resource preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Commitment to in-person instruction for the duration of the assignment.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a new educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction to students with exceptionalities, tailored to either a self-contained Life Skills or Instructional/Resource environment.
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Collaborate with general educators, related service providers, and families.
