As part of this assignment, you will deliver services and support across schools in Kiowa, Bennett, and Byers over four days each week, Monday through Thursday. While direct services and assessments require your in-person expertise, flexibility is offered to complete required paperwork and participate in IEP meetings remotely.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher, early childhood strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Ability to provide both in-person instruction/assessment and manage tasks remotely
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to travel between Kiowa, Bennett, and Byers for on-site needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct special education services to early childhood students
- Conduct assessments and develop IEPs tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and team members
- Complete required paperwork punctually, utilizing the remote option where applicable
- Ensure compliance with all special education laws and procedures
