Job Details
- Position: Virtual Intervention Specialist
- Location: Ohio (Remote)
- Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours per week
- School Year: August 10, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Caseload
- Students with a variety of disabilities and educational needs
- Disabilities may include:
- ADD
- ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Emotional and behavioral challenges
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual special education instruction and intervention services
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual setting
- Participate in IEP meetings and other required school-based meetings remotely
Qualifications
Licensure Required:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (IS) License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience providing virtual or school-based special education services
- Strong communication, organization, and technology skills
- Ability to effectively engage students in an online learning environment
