Virtual Intervention Specialist Position

Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Virtual Intervention Specialists to join our team for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you will provide high-quality remote instructional support and intervention services to students requiring specialized education plans. Multiple part-time positions (~20 hours/week) are available.
Key Responsibilities
Provide remote instruction and intervention tailored to individual student needs and IEP goals.
Work with students exhibiting a range of mild-to-moderate disabilities, including ADD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and emotional/behavioral challenges.
Assess student progress, adapt teaching strategies, and maintain accurate documentation of student performance.
Collaborate virtually with school staff, multidisciplinary teams, and parents/guardians to support student success.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
Licensure: Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (OH IS) license required.
Experience: Previous experience working as an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms, video conferencing, and digital learning tools. Comfort delivering interactive, engaging instruction in a remote format.
