Your expertise as a low-incidence licensed educator will provide crucial guidance, instruction, and encouragement to learners who need it most.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Valid low-incidence teaching license required prior to submission (in-person instruction only)
- Prior experience working with students who have significant or mixed abilities highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies for diverse learners
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs
- Collaborative mindset for working with paraprofessionals, related services staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to students with significant disabilities in elementary or secondary settings
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10 students, ensuring compliance with all pertinent educational requirements
- Develop meaningful educational goals and objectives within each student’s IEP
- Communicate regularly with families, colleagues, and support staff
- Adapt curriculum and use specialized resources and techniques to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress
Contract Details:
- Full-time hours (35-40 per week) for the 2026-2027 school year, from August 11, 2026, through May 19, 2027
