Key Qualifications:
- Valid Low-Incidence Special Education teaching license (must be current and available prior to submission)
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with significant disabilities
- Ability to manage and individualize instruction for students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Commitment to in-person instruction; virtual roles are not available for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Develop and adapt instructional materials and activities
- Maintain thorough and ongoing documentation for each student’s progress
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with all educational requirements
- Create a safe, engaging, and encouraging learning atmosphere
This full-time contract role offers 35-40 hours per week during the academic year.
