Special Education Teacher | Osseo, Minnesota

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
- Prior experience or a strong interest in elementary resource special education
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for parent and team collaboration
- Adaptability and creativity in modifying instruction
- Commitment to professional growth and supportive team dynamics
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction to elementary students with diverse learning needs in a resource setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure student growth
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Track progress toward academic and behavioral goals, utilizing data to inform instructional decisions
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Participate in professional development sessions and staff meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal requirements
