Special Education Teacher | Augusta, Georgia

Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Special Education Licensure/Certification (must be verified at the time of application)
- Background in school-based special education settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with general education staff
- Strong classroom management and documentation capabilities
- Full-time availability for the entirety of the 2026/2027 academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students with ASD
- Partner with general and special education staff to support IEP implementation
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting of student progress and compliance
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning for all students
- Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
