Special Education Teacher | Barre, Vermont

Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Current state certification in Special Education (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience in school-based special education settings
- Understanding of best practices for IEP implementation, case management, and differentiated instruction
- Strong ability to build relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction in accordance with students' IEPs
- Manage IEP documentation, meetings, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Maintain timely communication and thorough records
- Engage in team meetings, professional development, and school activities as required
