Key Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont Special Educator licensure
- Demonstrated experience with case management, IEP development, and compliance
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Previous experience in a remote, virtual SPED case management role (supervisor references required)
- Familiarity with VT DOE SPED requirements
Responsibilities:
- Serve remotely as the primary case manager for 45 high school students over two grades
- Lead IEP meetings, evaluations, and re-evaluations, ensuring compliance and timely processes
- Draft, review, and maintain IEPs, monitor student progress, and facilitate seamless communication with families and school staff
- Analyze behavioral and academic data to inform instructional planning and support strategies
- Collaborate closely with a core instructional team supporting students across both grades
