What You’ll Need:
- Valid Vermont Special Educator license
- Experience as a VT virtual SPED case manager
- Proven skills in case management, IEP writing, and compliance
- Consistent, effective communication and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with a focused team for multi-grade student support
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary case manager for 45 high school students (remote)
- Lead and coordinate IEP meetings, evaluations, and re-evaluations
- Write and maintain compliant IEPs; ensure timelines are met
- Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and staff across grades
- Maintain proactive, weekly communication with staff and families
- Review academic and behavioral data for informed decision-making
- Ensure faithful implementation of accommodations and modifications
