Your qualifications and background:
- Current Vermont Special Educator license
- Demonstrated experience as a VT-based virtual SPED case manager (supervisor references required from previous virtual roles)
- Proficiency in IEP writing, compliance, and special education processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Primary responsibilities include:
- Managing the educational journey for 45 high school students spanning two grades
- Coordinating and leading IEP meetings, initial and re-evaluations
- Crafting and maintaining compliant IEPs, while closely tracking student progress and deadlines
- Regularly communicating with staff and families to ensure goals and accommodations are understood and met
- Analyzing academic and behavioral data for student success and effective decision-making
