This adventure positions you to work across different caseloads: one role is a resource room teacher for grades 5th/6th with about 15 students; the other is a Life Skills/Intensive Needs teacher for a self-contained classroom serving three students with significant needs (each assisted by a paraprofessional). Both are full-year assignments from August 2026 through June 2027, covering Monday through Friday with 32–37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education certification and teaching license (or eligibility) for New Hampshire
- Previous experience with 5th/6th grade or with intensive needs/life skills students strongly preferred
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and adapt individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Create engaging, accessible lessons tailored to caseload needs
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educators
- Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
