Special Education Teacher - Berkeley, California

Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active California ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) credential is required
- Ability to provide a screenshot of the current CTC credential status for consideration
- Experience working with PreK students, especially within special education
- Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and experience in their development and implementation
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young learners
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to a PreK special education caseload
- Develop, adapt, and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with families, general education staff, and related service providers
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions
- Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
Compensation & Benefits: Anticipated pay ranges between $45 and $55 per hour, with weekly pay.
