Qualifications:
- Valid and active California Education Specialist Credential required
- Experience in special education settings, particularly with RSP/Resource Support, is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments
- Commitment to upholding student confidentiality and advocating for individual learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in adherence to federal, state, and school regulations
- Provide direct instruction and academic interventions to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and student families
- Track student progress and document outcomes to ensure educational goals are met
- Engage in team meetings, IEP meetings, and required professional development
- Foster a positive, supportive, and adaptive classroom environment
