Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid LBS1 certification required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Classroom experience in a middle school setting strongly preferred
- Proven skills in creating differentiated instruction and IEP development
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative teaching
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and accommodations for students with a range of learning needs
- Develop, implement, and progress-monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
