This year, we are seeking two Special Education Teachers for middle school settings in dynamic Learning Disabilities (DL) roles. Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) endorsement (required)
- Experience working in special education and middle school environments
- Ability to differentiate instruction and implement IEPs effectively
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students with learning disabilities in a middle school setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Participate in school meetings and professional development activities
