What You’ll Do:
- Deliver specialized instruction adapted for students participating in the GNETS (Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Supports) program
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations in alignment with student needs
- Provide targeted behavioral interventions and positive behavior supports
- Collaborate effectively with administrators, related service providers, families, and support staff
- Track progress, maintain compliance documentation, and ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Differentiate instruction across content areas, including Reading, Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies
- Foster a classroom environment that is safe, inclusive, and supportive for all learners
Who We’re Seeking:
- Holds a valid Georgia Special Education General Curriculum Certification
- Certified in all core academic areas (please be prepared to provide credentials)
- Experienced in writing and implementing IEPs
- Proficient in applying behavior intervention strategies and effective classroom management
- Able to provide 3 completed reference checks—one from a recent supervisory-level contact
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in GNETS or similar alternative educational settings
- Background supporting students with emotional and behavioral disorders
- Training or certification in CPI, de-escalation, or advanced behavior management approaches
