Special Education Teacher | Burbank, California

In this contract position, you’ll provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of up to 20 students in an engaging early childhood environment. You'll be responsible for two classroom sessions each day, working from 8:00am to 3:00pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch. The school day is thoughtfully organized into two class blocks: 8:30 – 11:00am and 12:00 – 2:30pm, allowing you to focus on targeted, high-quality instruction.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teaching credential (required)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in early childhood settings
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best practices in special education
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners in an inclusive environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction for early learners with special needs
