Full-Time Elementary Special Education Teacher | Burlington, WI

What You'll Be Responsible For
- Providing specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs
- Creating and implementing IEP goals and accommodations
- Monitoring academic, behavioral, and social-emotional progress
- Adapting lesson plans and instructional materials
- Maintaining compliance with special education guidelines and documentation requirements
- Partnering with families, therapists, and school staff to support student success
- Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Creating a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Wisconsin Special Education Teaching License
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Preferred:
- Experience in a self-contained classroom setting
- Elementary special education experience
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
