We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Special Education Teacher (English/Spanish) for a junior high setting in Calumet City, Illinois. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver bilingual instruction (English and Spanish) in a Special Education setting
- Provide student-focused teaching tailored to individual learning needs
- Manage a small classroom environment (20 students or fewer)
- Collaborate with staff, families, and support teams to ensure student success
- Maintain consistency in instruction and classroom structure
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Special Education Licensure (required)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Experience with junior high or high school students required
- Demonstrated student-first teaching approach
- Strong history of career consistency and long-term commitments
Compensation
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Bill rate: $80–$85/hour (negotiable based on candidate)
- Must include desired rate upon submission
