You’ll be supporting a small caseload of fewer than 12 students, ages 5 to 8, across the academic year. Your expertise will shape the educational experience for these young learners—leaving a lasting impact while you build new memories and skills.
Position At-a-Glance:
- Two openings available
- 37-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Start date: ASAP; End date: May 28, 2027
- SC Teacher Certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and adapt Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide daily classroom instruction to students ages 5–8
- Collect and analyze student data/progress
- Complete IEP documentation accurately and timely
- Supervise classroom assistants and collaborate with team members
- Take on additional duties as assigned by school leadership
Desired Experience:
- Current South Carolina Teacher Certification in Special Education
- Experience working with early elementary students (5–8 years old) preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Effective communicator with staff, students, and parents
