Required Qualifications:
- Valid SC Teacher Certification in Special Education
- Previous experience (preferred) in special education classroom environments
- Ability to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
- Comfortable supervising classroom assistants
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging daily classroom instruction to a caseload of fewer than 12 students (ages 5–8)
- Implement and monitor progress on IEPs
- Collect, assess, and report data on student progress
- Complete IEP-related paperwork accurately and on time
- Supervise and support classroom assistants
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
