Qualifications:
- Valid LBS1 certification required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education or related field
- Experience in co-teaching or inclusion settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and IEP development
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of best practices in behavior management and data collection
Responsibilities:
- Co-teach alongside a general education teacher to deliver engaging instruction to students with varying abilities
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to align with students’ individual needs and goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collect data on student progress and adjust support accordingly
- Collaborate with related service providers, families, and school teams to ensure holistic support
- Contribute to a positive classroom climate and inclusive school community
