Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a nurturing and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support each student’s needs
- Assess and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
