Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (required)
- Proven experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of a range of learning disabilities and behavioral challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instruction based on student needs and data
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored instructional plans for students with varying disabilities
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress toward established educational goals
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and assistive technologies to support differentiated learning
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for growth
