Qualifications:
- Hold valid licensure in one of the following:
- Special Education: General Curriculum (PreK-12)
- Special Education: Adapted Curriculum (PreK-12)
- Early Childhood Special Education (Birth–Age 5)
- Experience in ECSE or elementary self-contained classrooms is a plus
- Commitment to supporting the social, academic, and emotional growth of students requiring special education services
- Adaptable, collaborative, and positive approach to classroom management
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with classroom staff and related service providers
- Assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Engage with families to ensure open communication and shared goal-setting
- Maintain accurate records and stay compliant with all required documentation
