Special Education Teacher in Colorado Springs, CO

Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Special Education Teacher certification

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and individualized instruction to students with varying abilities as outlined in their IEPs
- Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to match the learning profiles of each student
- Monitor student progress, document assessments, and regularly report updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with fellow educators, related service providers, and parents to develop and implement educational strategies
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal requirements
