Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher Certification (Instructional I or II), or ability to secure full certification prior to your start date
- Emergency or out-of-state certificates cannot be considered
- Proven experience working with middle school-aged students, preferably in an emotional support or similar specialized setting
- Ability to maintain clear routines with a structured and predictable classroom environment
- Skilled in utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to encourage student progress and engagement
- Adaptability to changing caseloads and comfort managing a group currently at 13 students, with potential growth up to 20
- Excellent communication abilities to partner with school teams and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction and support to middle school students with emotional and behavioral needs
