Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Special Education (Intervention Specialist) licensure in Ohio
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs for students in grades K–12
- Familiarity with a variety of instructional approaches and adaptive technologies
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to manage classroom environments and support diverse learning needs
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to documenting student progress
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, and deliver individualized instruction for students with diverse needs
- Develop and revise IEPs and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student performance and inform instructional decisions
- Provide support, resources, and training to general education teachers
- Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals
