Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Valid Kansas State Teaching License with the appropriate endorsement
- Expertise conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- School-based behavior specialist, BCBA, or related background strongly preferred
- Experience collaborating on behavior coaching, developing staff trainings, and supporting crisis intervention
- Knowledgeable in research-based practices for behavior management
- Background in school psychology, social work, or school counseling is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver behavioral support services to K-12 students across multiple districts
- Design, implement, and monitor effective interventions based on student data
- Engage in collaboration with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Conduct FBAs and develop or maintain BIPs to support student growth
- Offer direct coaching, consultation, and training to educational staff
- Respond to behavioral crises and support crisis management planning
- Regularly document progress and adjust interventions as needed for ongoing improvement
