Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active Special Education Teacher certification (state eligibility required)
- Previous classroom or resource room experience preferred
- Expertise working with elementary-aged children
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to tailor strategies to meet a diverse range of student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a full-time (1.0 FTE) elementary caseload of around 25 students
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct instruction in small group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state protocols
- Foster an inclusive, supportive resource room environment
