Special Education Teacher

Description:
ProCare Therapy is partnered with a School District who is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team. We have multiple Special Education Teaching openings available.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive practices.
- Assess students’ progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid Special Education teaching license in Virginia.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Special Education Teacher Details:
- 26/27 School Year
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.
- Hours: Full Time
