Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Virginia Special Education Teaching License (VA SPED) required

- Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver engaging instruction and intervention in a self-contained classroom setting
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families and support staff
- Foster a positive, growth-focused classroom climate
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP conferences
- Provide guidance and support to classroom assistants as needed
