We’re seeking passionate Special Education Teachers for two full-time, in-person contract roles—one at the elementary level and one at the secondary level—spanning the 2026-2027 school year.
You’ll serve a manageable caseload of roughly 10 students, providing individualized, specialized instruction and advocacy in settings where progress means everything. Our focus is on low-incidence populations, so licensure with this specific endorsement is required before consideration. You’ll collaborate with other educational professionals, contribute to a positive school culture, and help every learner reach their fullest potential.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid and current low-incidence Special Education teaching license (must be held and submitted for placement)
- Experience or interest in working with students with significant or multiple disabilities
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Strong communication skills for partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to in-person teaching—no virtual options available
- Background in crisis intervention and positive behavioral support a plus
Key responsibilities:
- Create and adapt instructional materials to meet each student’s unique needs
- Track student progress and update case files and IEP goals
- Facilitate inclusive opportunities where appropriate
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and administrators
- Maintain consistent communication with caregivers and external agencies
Both roles are full-time, 35–40 hours per week, beginning August 11, 2026, and concluding May 19, 2027.
