Special Education Teacher - Dracut, MA

Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
- Proven experience in special education, specifically with elementary-aged students
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience applying ABA principles
- Previous classroom leadership in a substantially separate or Autism support setting highly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and related service providers
What You’ll Do:
- Teach and support elementary learners within a substantially separate classroom environment
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Utilize ABA strategies to promote academic, social, and emotional growth
- Collaborate with families and instructional teams to achieve student goals
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom atmosphere
This contract position follows school-based hours, Monday through Friday, 8:15am–3pm, providing a stable schedule and the chance to be a consistent presence in your students’ educational journey.
