Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold an active Illinois Special Education License
- Demonstrated experience or passion for working with elementary-aged students (K-5)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working within a co-teaching model
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction alongside a co-teacher in the general education classroom
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track and report student progress toward established goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom culture
