Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct special education instruction tailored to each student’s needs
- Adapt lesson plans and modify curriculum as necessary
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate records related to student progress, IEPs, and behavior plans
- Participate in meetings and professional development as needed for ongoing certification
- Manage a special education caseload within a year-round school schedule
